What challenges did you have when handling payroll payment and calculation for your employees?

We started processing payroll from day one with Runa. The accounting firm that advised us at the beginning introduced us to Runa. We were looking for a unified HR and payroll platform.

In what ways has Runa helped you?

Runa has helped us a lot. Running payroll is very fast, and distributing employee payments directly from the platform saves us time. Adding or removing employees is very simple, and we know that with Runa, severance calculations and payments to government entities are correct. The IMSS module allows us to make updates and run queries without having to use the SUA portal, which is confusing. With the platform’s reports, we have tighter control over payroll costs.

What do you like most about Runa?

Runa makes it easier to manage our employees. On the platform, we have their profiles with all their information stored, instead of having scattered Excel files. If we ever need to know an employee’s Family Medical Unit (Unidad de Medicina Familiar) in case of an emergency, we feel at ease because we know everything is stored in their Runa profile.
It’s very easy to make salary adjustments. We can track employee vacations and leave requests, and that information is reflected in payroll without any manual process.
